Had a fantastic time fishing with Steve this past Saturday! We had a wonderful time on the water and caught stripers, sea bass, scup, fluke and so many giant bluefish. Weather was great and we fished all the way down to Nomans Island and had to keep our bluefish away from a large shark. On the way back we went by a pod of playful dolphins to finish off an amazing day.Would definitely do it again!

When a Capt / Guide works non-stop the whole trip to find fish and then make sure their clients catch them, well they did their job! My wife contacted Capt. Stephen about a week ago to schedule a fishing charter as a birthday gift for our grandson. They went back and forth on a couple of days and in the end was able to get the day we wanted. Capt. Stephen was very accommodating and also made sure we had a great time on the water. His knowledge of the area is very good. He kept a constant eye on our surrounding and being very mindful of weather conditions which made the trip feel safe and enjoyable. He also made sure that we where all well informed, safe and knew exactly what to expect. He clearly knows the area and where the fish can be found. His son and first mate was just a pleasure. You can clearly see he has learned so much from is Dad and isn't afraid to hold down a conversation about what he knows. And to top it off, we managed to leave a couple of items behind, but Stephen took the time to contact us and meet that very same day to return what was left behind. I have to say, this was a great experience. I would recommend Smokin Reels fishing charter to anyone looking to have a fun morning with family or friends fishing. So call him and bring you sense of adventure and just have fun.
